APARTMENT CG

APARTMENT CG is the project for a 45 square metre apartment realised for a couple of graphic designers in the centre of Milan.

The project consists of the addition of a large steel bookcase that redefines the access space by transforming it into a gallery for the display of their work and, at the same time, defined the means of entry to the other spaces of the flat, the living area, sleeping area and the bathroom.

The bookcase, at the intersection with the living space, is interrupted by a long suspended steel beam that unloads its weight onto the 5 meters long kitchen, made of steel and glass.

Each room in the flat has been designed from a reflection on the graphics and textures of the surfaces that constitute it.
